The Roadster Hotel is a charming small family run hotel with 9 rooms available to rent on either a daily or weekly basis. The owner Marion Rose has successfully run the hotel since she first started the business up over thirty years ago when she left her native Germany.

The hotel is ideally situated close to the main road going to St. Mary and Port Maria, about a mile and a half out of Ocho Rios and opposite to the entrance road for the Shaw Park Beach Hotel.

The Roadster restaurant is open every day serving breakfast in the mornings and Caribbean cuisine in the evenings. The restaurant is a particular favourite with the locals especially for Sunday lunch when Marion serves up her famous speciality of roast beef, rice and peas and German potato salad.

The Roadster's outside bar is open every night and has a lovely intimate atmosphere that again attracts a good few non-resident locals as regular customers.

Over the years the bar has become a favourite meeting place for many in Ocho Rios and guests at the hotel are always made to feel welcome in mixing and enjoying a drink and a few laughs with the friendly locals. Bar prices and meals at the Roadster are very competitively priced and you will be very pleasantly surprised when you ask for your tab.

There is a swimming pool in the grounds measuring 20ft by 12ft that guests are welcome to use and it is the ideal size for children to enjoy.

Air conditioned rooms are available with either twin beds or a double.

The hotel is only 200 yards away from the very beautiful Golden Sands Beach which is one of the nicest in the whole of Jamaica. This is a private beach owned by a close friend of Marion's and guests at the Roadster are allowed to use the beach most of the time unless it is rented out by the owner.
